Community Efforts

Not only do we provide help for women and their children with deep wounds of sexual and physical abuse, abandonment, rejection and other tragic life experiences, but we also have free food distributions each week as well as providing clothing and furniture each month for families in need.

Being Made Whole Outreach

Our next project is to begin the Being Made Whole Outreach Program which will allow us to minister to men and women outside of our residential program, that can’t leave their families and are reasonably functional. They are often able to maintain a job but are still suffering from addiction, depression, eating disorders, physical abuse, etc. Goals of the ministry are to over double the number of people that Abba House is able to help from around seventy to over a hundred and seventy at one time, and to help every person involved in the Being Made Whole Outreach Program find a greater sense of peace. The ministry will be 2 hours a week for 13 weeks. We developed the curriculum over the last 20 years but currently don’t have the facility to hold such meetings. The leaders will be initially staff from Abba House with the objective to train the respective meeting participants to be trained to lead the groups.

Food Pantry: Windows of Heaven
