Client Profile
The ministry at Abba House is Christian in nature and content. Non-Christians however are welcome to participate.
Women who hope to participate in the ministry at Abba House must meet the following criterion:
- Women must be at least eighteen years old.
- Women with children may be approved for residency. 1
- Women with any of the following problems are eligible to apply for residency:
- Sexual Abuse
- Victims of Battering
- Relational and Sexual Addiction
- Eating Disorders
- Emotional Distress
- Chemical Dependence
- Women with any other condition preventing them from a healthy Christian life will be considered individually.
1An initial period is provided before children will join their mothers in the program. Mothers must be making substantial progress in growth and healing for children to be admitted into the ministry.
